George Turton
(1821-1854/1854) |
George Turton 2
![]() General Notes: All a great theory but wrong I think! There is a George "Furton", 30, ag lab, born Denby living in Fulstone with wife Fanny. This would be Fanny Armitage and it looks like George died in 1854 as Fanny remarried to John Copley in 1856. Could be checked with 1849 marriage but looks pretty certain. So the following can be ignored (but then again who is George b 1823?). ![]() Chronology: He worked as a Fancy Weaver in 1841 and resided at Low Denby, West Yorkshire. 6 (with father and mother) He worked as an Ag Lab in 1851 and resided at Fulstone, Yorkshire. 7 ![]() George married Fanny Armitage Apr to Jun 1849 in Huddersfield (reg).1 (Fanny Armitage was born Cal 1820 in Kirkburton, West Yorkshire 8 and died after 1881.) |
