Samuel Hale
- Born: 1833, Guernsey
- Marriage: Anna McKiernan in 1876 in Auckland, New Zealand 1
- Died: 5 Mar 1889, Devonport, Auckland, New Zealand 2
- Buried: 6 Mar 1889, Mt Victoria, Devonport, Auckland, New Zealand
General Notes:
"Samuel, the second youngest son, had immigrated to New Zealand, living in Auckland, and, when in 1865 he was ill in Auckland, called upon the assistance of his youngest brother [William]." [Rosemary Hale]
There are two Samuel Hale references in Victoria that I thought might be this one but both proved otherwise.
A death in 1898 of an SH aged 65 seemed likely but turned out to be a Gloucester born miner, in Vic for 39 years.
A Samuel Hale was next door neighbour of John Clarke in 1885 / 1886 but is likely a Samuel Aubrey Hale whose wife Theresa died 1886 S.Y.
